Beacon Resources seeks a Project Accountant to join a fast growing company in Anaheim

Job – The Project Accountant will perform the day-to-day tasks, monitor the progress of projects, and investigating budgeted versus actual variances.

Compensation – Salary range $60,000-70,000/yr depending on experience

PROJECT ACCOUNTANT DUTIES

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
• Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
• Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
• Provide input into department’s goal setting process
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns

PROJECT ACCOUNTANT QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• 2+ years' of professional accounting experience
• 1 year of job costing experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
